Andre Gide summed it up perfectly in this quote, which is how I live my life—“Look for your own. Do not do what someone else could do as well as you. Do not say, do not write what someone else could say, could write as well as you. Care for nothing in yourself but what you feel exists nowhere else. And, out of yourself create, impatiently or patiently, the most irreplaceable of beings." My art is either performance or fire and the best is both.

I got my name heathervescent when my boss added the adjective most used to describe me (effervescent) to my name.

I used to hate Heather, because there were always other Heather's around - but that just pushed me to differentiate myself - and thus become all the possibilities I dreamt of being.
